Dear Sisters,
During the convention, our National President, Carol Colonna, commented that perhaps chapters should meet socially during our traditionally dark months of summer. My chapter has never gone dark, and we have never felt the need to do so.
Lets examine the Pros and Cons of brightening up our traditional dark summer months.
Pros:
You get to see your sisters - BONUS!
Sorority stays near the forefront of your life
Meeting socially means fun, and who would object to that?
Fun events are perfect for introducing potential sisters to the chapter
There are many options for social meet-ups, pools, parks, picnics, and the zoo
A social outing is an escape from routine
Attendance isn't required, so social outings won't interfere with vacations
Cons:
Someone has to plan and send invites
"We've never done it this way before"
Please add to these lists in the comments. Discuss with your chapters. Make your summer shine brighter!
Lovingly,
Beth

Great Idea! Meet and Gather anytime we can! 👍
Love that our chapter gets together for connection. Board games, dice games, escape rooms, dinner, patio sitting, baseball games, wine tasting, the possibilities are endless
